Shoreline's Church at FWB

Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that the terms have been agreed upon and a lease is headed our way the first of next week. Fort Walton Beach & Uptown Station here we come!

I am not sure what you think about waiting but I sometimes have a hard time with even the thought of waiting.

It is a lot like the phrase ready, set, go. I think just about everyone has heard that phrase even if they are not a runner and the whole emphasis is on the word go, but if that is the case and I know that it is, why do they have two words leading up to the go part?

The only way that I can explain that is who knows or could it be that preparation and patience are really important. We have found ourselves in just that place the “set” place.

We are all ready but the gun has not sounded for us to go so we wait “set” to go. It is the place that is in between the vision and the fulfillment or the idea and it’s reality. This is the place that faith is tested and you need to trust God to move.

We are undoubtedly headed to Fort Walton Beach and there will soon be a time to “go” in more ways than one but, right now while we are in the “set” place lets trust God to do what only He can do and allow preparation and patience to be our guide.

Sometimes change comes in ways and directions that you would never have guessed. After a move (quite literally) across the country. We sit poised to move into an amazing building and launch Shoreline Fort Walton Beach. Jami and I are so excited to be a part of Shoreline and the team that is working to see all of this become a reality.

In coming days more will be released about the location (nice picture) and our start day.
